HOW THE POLICE LED BY THE DPO OF AGO-OKOTA PREVENTED BLOOD SHED ON SATURDAY.

While there has been an on going rumour on Social media concerning the death of one Demola, an OPC leader who allegedly led thugs to destroy ballox paper in a polling unit in Ago -okota axis, after proper findings, it was discovered that it was actually the DPO of Ago palace division, CSP Francess Oyin that responded on time to save the situation and rescued Demola who was caught and attacked by angry Mob.

Information our reporter got on the field from residents who she spoke to said that although there were pocket of violence but the police in Ago-Okota did their best to curtail the situation.

A resident who choose to be anonymous said that they saw the DPO moving from one polling unit to another to ensure that voters were able to cast their vote peacefully and it was the DPO who saved the day by rescuing Demola from imminent death. He was rescued by the DPO and her team and was rushed to Gracevalley Medical Centre on Ago Palace Way before he was later reffered to LUTH by the doctor in charge.

They urged politicians to continue to play by rules of the game so as to prevent Electoral violence.
